Single Stage vs Two Stage

The maximum pressure for all single stage air compressors is generally 100 PSI and 175 PSI for two stage compressors. Piston compressors operate off of a pressure switch and the load differential is normally 35 PSI.

Installing a replacement pump can be a inexpensive solution vs. buying a new air compressor.  Some pumps we sell are aftermarket pumps which are less expensive, some are the original equipment manufactured (OEM) replacement.  The brands we offer are; Champion (Garnder Denver), Ingersoll Rand, Quincy, Chicago Pneumatic, Powerex, Saylor Beall, Kellogg American, Schulz and many others.    Our Quincy Compressor replacements include the pressure lubricated 216L, 240L, 310L, 325L, 340L, 350L, 370L, 390L, 4125L & 5120L.  These pressure lubricated pumps have been known to last 30+ (when sized accordingly).   Quincy also has the QP series pressure lubricated compressor.  The QP compressor is a mix between the QR & QT pump.  Quincy also has the QT pump which is a very industrial grade two stage "splash lubricated" pump.  The QT pump ranges from 5 to 15 hp, QT5, QT7.5, QT10 & the QT15 pump.

The 10 hp air compressor pump is our best seller.  These aftermarket pumps are great replacements for any 7.5 or 10 hp compressor, running around 725 RPM, cast iron construction and two stage design with a maximum pressure of 175 psig.  These compressor pumps can generate 35 CFM @ 175 PSIG.  Buy these pumps with confidence.  If you wanted dry air with this pump, we would recommend installing the 35 CFM high inlet temperature air dryer.  

When you are replaceing a large 25 hp compressor pump, you want one that operates under 800 RPM.  Our industrial pump comes complete with flywheel, inlet filter silencers and head unloaders.  These cast iron pumps are perfect when replacing large Quincy, Ingersoll-Rand, Saylor Beall and Champion Compressor Pumps.
